A Studio 4 Group Show:
Show Description
Bodega Film Lab was founded with a simple intention: keep film alive, accessible and community-centered. What started as a small, passionate operation quickly became a trusted hub for analog photographers who value the tactile process of shooting, developing and printing on film. Over the past five years, Bodega has processed thousands of rolls; capturing everything from everyday moments and cross-country road trips to weddings, creative experiments and deeply personal archives. More than just a lab, Bodega has grown into a space where photographers connect, learn and share in the appreciation of the craft. The lab’s commitment to quality, consistency and care has helped cultivate a loyal community of artists, hobbyists, students and longtime film enthusiasts.
As Bodega celebrates its five-year anniversary, this exhibition at Studio 4 brings those stories full circle; moving images from sleeves and shoeboxes onto gallery walls. This show highlights photographs that were developed at Bodega Film Lab, showcasing the diverse perspectives that have passed through the lab’s doors. By inviting current staff, former staff and dedicated customers to exhibit their work, the exhibition honors not only the images themselves but the relationships and shared history behind them. The opening at Studio 4 is both a celebration and a reflection: five years of analog process, creative risk-taking and a community built frame by frame.
Come celebrate with us on Friday April 10th at Studio 4 for the opening of “Bodega 5 Year Anniversary Show” from 6-9pm. This show will be on display through the end of May with gallery hours posted on our Instagram and private tours available by appointment via email studio4pgh@gmail.com.
